Producer (and human-encyclopedia of all-things ‘Disney’) Randy Thornton was in the studio recently, to oversee mastering for the double-LP Special Edition of the Tron: Legacy Soundtrack. Supplementing the original tracklist, side four of this special-edition picture-disc set will feature a total of 7 bonus tracks (from the incredible score by Daft Punk), not found on the original CD issue. In addition to mastering the double-LP, engineer Jeff Sheridan also worked on a four-track EP that will be released separately. We suspect that the picture-disc vinyl will look as cool as it sounds.
