Richard Vanderscoff

Rich has been an audiophile and tech geek for well over a decade. After working in the game design industry when he was just 18, Rich realized his hobby in audio was where his true passion was. While obtaining his B.F.A in Sound Design from the Univerity SCAD, he fell in love with postproduction. Over the last several years he has trained under industry masters such as David E. Stone and Peter Damski in every facet of production and postproduction sound. Armed with a trained ear and a solid foundation of editing and recording techniques, he moved to Los Angeles to begin his career. Shortly after he found and joined the dedicated professionals that comprise the Soundworks team. His professional IT background and technical skill-sets round out the facility by striving to implement new technologies and streamline workflow. He is Digidesign Certified to 210 Post Operator and specializes in sound editorial and design. Rich covers numerous roles at the facility such as second recording engineer, editorial, restoration, delivery, technical services and more!
